Chronicle-ers,

I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked, but I am really not sure what to do here.

How do I list a paper that has been accepted pending revisions on my cv?  May I put it on the section that says publications (with "accepted pending revisions" in parenthesis next to it), or do I need to leave it under the section for "under consideration"?

Thank you in advance for your input on this matter.

Sincerely,

U.

Your paper is no longer under consideration, it has been accepted.  I would say "to appear in ..." when refering to that paper in your CV.

I suggest you be careful to put "to appear." Does the revision need to go to the referees again or is it simply you make some minor changes and the paper will be accepted? If it is the second case, then write "to appear"; otherwise use their terminoloy "accepted pending revision."

Good point.  I agree. If it is worded such that you need to resubmit and it may then not be accepted, as opposed to an assurance that it will be accepted once you (in your opinion, at least) have made the changes, then use their terms.

Thank you both, EC and One Thought.  I will go with the option of "accepted pending revisions" just to be on the safe side.

FWIW, I have three sections under my publications: Under Consideration, In Press (sometimes aka Forthcoming, depending on what version of my CV I'm on), and Published.
