I am a woman with a graduate degree and I have been the head women's volleyball coach and the sports-information director at a Division III institution that has 17 sports and 550 students. This year I accepted a position (I chose for it to be interim at the time) as associate athletics director. I was also asked to be an instructor in our sports-management program.

Contracts just came out, and the amount that's being offered to me concerns me -- every Tom, Dick, and Mary will be receiving a raise of at least 3 percent and they offered me a raise of 4.4 percent, putting me at $37,900 versus last year's $36,300.  I am looking for a way to find out what other people in this type of position earn.

The AD job would require me to be in charge during the month of July.  I am on a nine-month contract, but I would need to check in with the office daily and handle all affairs during that period. Can you help me?
