Hi,
There were several postings awhile ago about efficiently grading student papers and providing comments. There was one about typing some words and then the rest of comments pop up (?). Would you please remind me how to do this? I appreciate any other suggestions.
Thanks

Download one of these cool programs that give you a huge clipboard, it allows you to paste in comments with a few clicks and keep ones you use a lot stored in the program. I just started using this new one called M6 Multi Clipboard, it is shareware for the light version. So far so good, it takes a bit of time to get the hang of it, but it pays off.

I recently did a search for similar information.  Check past threads entitled, "Speed Grading Tips" which was posted around 11-05-05 and "Grading Student Writing in a Timely Manner" from 6-20-05 through about 6-25-05.  In the "Timely Manner" thread, posters "Mouse" and "jjg" reference the use of typewritten comments.

Rattus domesticus posted an example of a grading rubric and, in response to another poster, gave permission to borrow the rubric.
