Totally unrelated to anything higher ed.

God I love hearing women say that word, "Papi."  In fact, I'd say that has my vote as the sexist word extant.  And yes, there are probably many reasons why it's creepy that I like that word and long to be referred to as "papi" in certain situations.  I'm horrible, blah blah.  But I tell ya, call me that in the right moment, and I'd do anything you said!

The reason I asked about this is, I tend to think down-the-road. So I thought, what if we had an opening in this guy's field and I had input into the hire (we're a small department)? But I could just excuse (recuse?) myself.
