Yesterday was my last class, my final (group presentations) is not until next thursday and it's SNOWING!!!

My kids are home 'cause school cancelled and I "accidently" left research papers and finals on my desk at work...

I guess I'll pick them up tomorrow and for today, I'll go sledding and snowshoeing with my kids.

Just feeling happy that winter is finally here.

Geez Mendel, there has been snow here since early November! And why is the school closed? It's normal here; school only closes if it is reaalllllly cold.

Well, I'm looking out my window right now and I can barely see the houses across the street- near white out conditions.

I grew up in Buffalo- so I know about going to school in the snow.  Here they do seem to close snow at the drop of a flake.

I remember going to school as a kid and finding out it had been blizzard conditions.

But today- I'm happy!

Must be nice...driving to school this morning it was 59 degrees outside. I got to school and saw students wearing jackets and gloves. There were some clouds yesterday, so maintenance has turned the heat up so it is about 80 in class.....sigh.

Have a nice weekend.

What is this snow?

Seriously- I hope to get a couple days to go visit the fluffy white stuff.  I've almost forgotten what it looks like in real life (it's been years).  I still remember school being let out when it was snowing once here (very rare).  I guess it's the price I pay for not having to shovel anything.

Not me.  I drive a Scion.  No big gas guzzler for me.  I get 33 mpg & it's not a hybrid.  Cheap & made by Toyota, what more could you want?

Snow.  Bah!  Humbug.

AZ, if you are really itching to make snowballs, perhaps I could interest you in a houseswap over winter break?

School cancelled here too.  That means time for some serious goofing off!

My kids had the day off and I worked about 5 hours. Plan to snowshoe or ski Sunday after hunting season ends.
