Over the next 10 days I have three days of giving finals, 65 research appers to grade, 64 final exams to grade, and packing to do so I can go home. My plane flight leaves for home in 10 days. It will be great to see my husband again. Merry semester break to all.

7 more days of classes, one week of finals, 61 papers, 13 finals, a few more adjuncts to hire, administrative data to assess and post on spreadsheets, one article to submit, a book proposal to write, gifts to wrap, and cards to send. Looking forward to a month of pretty much having my own schedule!

Classes ended yesterday. Two take-home finals and two in-class finals to grade, 3 classes to prep for next semester, and a graduation to attend.

My last classes are today and tomorrow. Then: finish grading about 35 papers, give final exams on three different (including makeups), grade 60 finals, look over TA grading, calculate 140 grades, review job applications. Then, about a week off, during which I'll finish syllabi for next semester, read two books for directed reading with extremely rude and obnoxious student, finish journal article, mop floors, cook dinner, take hot bath, exercise, sleep.

4 days until the first final, 250 finals to grade, second final 3 days later, 65 finals to grade and then a peaceful Christmas with only one class to prep for Jan. Santa was kind and gave me an early Christmas present-three grad students to help me grade the finals!

I assumed you mean until the Rapture, but maybe you mean Judgment Day? But that's not the end, it's a new beginning.

thanks for the laugh. No, I did not mean how many more days until the rapture, just the mundane end of the semester.
