With roots dating back to 1865, Rider is a private, coeducational university located on 280 beautiful acres on two campuses in New Jersey – one in Lawrenceville and one in Princeton, both within easy driving distance to New York City and Philadelphia. Comprised of four academic colleges – the College of Business Administration; the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences; the College of Continuing Studies; and Westminster College of the Arts – Rider provides dynamic undergraduate programs in more than 60 areas and graduate programs in 23 specialties.
The Rider community is nearly 6,000 students strong supported by more than 95 percent of faculty members holding a Ph.D. or the highest credential in their field. Twelve are Fulbright Scholars. Rider's faculty brings real-world experience to the classroom that elevates what is learned from mere theory to “real-world” knowledge. In addition to the professors based on the Lawrenceville campus, those at the world-renowned Westminster Choir College on the Princeton campus are preeminent musicians, skilled scholars, mentors and learning partners.
