11 Scholars Earn Nation's Highest Scientific Honor

The White House named 11 scholars on Monday among the 13 winners of the 2006 National Medals of Science, the nation's highest scientific honor. The prize recognizes achievement in the physical, biological, mathematical, social, behavioral, and engineering sciences.
