Sheldon Jackson College Announces Temporary Closure

The Board of Trustees of Sheldon Jackson College, a small, Christian liberal-arts institution in Alaska, has voted to suspend academic operations for a year, in order to put the college on firmer financial footing.

Saturday was the last day of work for most of the college's 100 faculty and staff members.
