A glance at the current issue of The Journal of American College Health: Why victimization goes unreported on campus
Research indicates that only 2 percent of college women who experience physical or sexual assault report the incidents to the police. In most cases, four researchers at Clemson University have found, that is because the women doubt that what happened to them merits involving the authorities.
