Researchers at U. of Hawaii-Manoa Assail Big Cut in Library's Budget for Buying Books

A budget crisis at the University of Hawaii-Manoa has led the campus's library to slash spending on new books by a third, prompting some faculty members to call the move a threat to Manoa's stature as a leading research institution and spurring one librarian to describe the result as "a huge scar" on the collection.
