Online Admissions Company Wins $8.5-Million in Lawsuit Against Rival

A federal jury has awarded CollegeNET, a company that sells online-admissions services, $8.5-million in its lawsuit against a rival, the Xap Corporation. But in a separate verdict, the jury invalidated a good chunk of one of CollegeNET's patents.
