Gates Foundation Gives $33-Million to U. of Washington to Graduate More Public-Interest Lawyers

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced a $33.3-million gift on Thursday that will provide a free ride for five new students a year at the University of Washington School of Law who commit to working in public-service law after they graduate.
