Congress Settles on Small Budget Increase for National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation would receive $5.65-billion in the 2006 fiscal year, $181-million more than this year and $49-million more than President Bush requested, under an agreement reached late last week by members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
