Tulane U. Fires an Instructor Who Claimed a Doctorate From a Diploma Mill

A part-time instructor at Tulane University has been fired, just weeks after The Chronicle revealed that his doctorate had come from an unaccredited institution that charges $2,200 for a Ph.D. and requires students to do little academic work (The Chronicle, June 25).
