Boston College Makes $99-Million Deal With Catholic Church to Buy Land for Expansion

Boston College agreed on Tuesday to buy 43 acres, complete with an archbishop's mansion, from the Archdiocese of Boston for $99.4-million, with options to purchase 21.5 more acres in deals that will provide the Roman Catholic Church with cash to cover lawsuit settlements for victims of sexual abuse by priests.
