As other writers have so astutely observed, there are very fine lines between literary biography, literary autobiography, factual documents, newspaper accounts and literature in general. One might even call the chart such a mapping of lines would describe a matrix. It is my understanding that writers have artistic control, but editors have editorial (read: publishing) control. Perhaps I am mistaken, for I haven't read Morris's work yet, since I haven't been that interested in Reagan since he left office, but I believe the "book" was published by a major publishing house.
