The Chronicle of Higher Education: Colloquy

COLLOQUY

Responses

Rudeness? Of course! Rudeness, what else do you expect? It is a simple valve, what I am surprised about is that it has not turned, as it is already happening in elementary schools throughout the nation, into open warfare. Whom are you kidding? Are people surprised? Rudeness is the mildest avenue of expression. It is a simple symptom. What amazes me is that administrators and people on top, keep happy go round, enjoying the spoils (while it lasts!). I see a lot of callous people, who say they care, but they don't give a damn. And this is in academia where we are supposed to be the models of society: educators.
