The Chronicle of Higher Education: Colloquy

COLLOQUY

Responses

Administrators in higher education should make every effort to put an immediate stop to disruptive behavior in the classroom. This is not an area where compromise and even counseling should be considered.

Our K-12 schools have been ruined by years of rude and even dangerous behavior. Students in college and university are adults. If they don't understand the meaning of appropriate classroom behavior they should be dismissed. Every campus needs such a policy!
