Regarding sartorial considerations in academia. Yes, I'm English-oriented and wondering if dress -- and image portrayed -- has been compounded into pay/tenure considerations. Dress for success? Would administration take applicants and nomadic adjuncts more seriously if they dressed "like the suits"?
