The Chronicle of Higher Education: Colloquy

COLLOQUY

Responses

Like many others who have joined this debate, I can't believe we are concerning ourselves with this matter. We are supposed to be thinkers, not clothes horses. Some of the most influential professors in my academic career must have had closets that were virtual disasters, yet it was the quality of their discourses, the depth of their knowledge and their ability to help me "make sense of it all" that left the most lasting impression.

-- Edward Zehr, Professor, Northern Marianas College (posted 1/29, 2:20 p.m., E.S.T.)
