The Chronicle of Higher Education: Colloquy

COLLOQUY

Although I enjoyed reading "Frumpy or Chic?..." in The Chronicle, I was dismayed that you failed to give credit to the university press that published Ms. Toth's fine tome, "Ms. Mentor's Impeccable Advice for Women in Academia": the University of Pennsylvania Press. In the age of the decline of university press book sales, I would have hoped that your periodical would have at least subtly assisted U. of Penn Press's marketing efforts for this title, which is really a quite informative work touching on a broad range of the inner-workings of academia and tenure, written by someone who's been there. Cheers, Emily, for your book as whole, not just the parts on fashion!

p.s. I personally love fashion and looking chic! Touche.
