How would the faculty know which students required high grades to obtain/maintain scholarships? Further, if the scholarship is not in a particular area what should it matter what courses (easy or hard) the students are taking? Some areas are mostly elective which is perceived to be "easy." Those with "core" curricula are not necessarily more difficult. Would a "core" in history or anthropology be more difficult than an elective-driven physics major?
