I think adding coffee shops to university libraries is a great idea. The more user friendly, the better. Customer service is the key to getting students to come in and use the library more. I never come away with a "warm and fuzzy" feeling after talking to a library staff member. Maybe adding a coffee shop could change the atmosphere of libraries for the better.
