NASA Plane Simulates Weightlessness for Texas A&M Researchers

College Station, Texas -- Researchers from Texas A&M University here conduct experiments on what is commonly known as the "vomit comet," a KC-135 jet airplane owned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

The plane flies in a pattern of parabolas, leading to brief periods of weightlessness.
