    The Ohio State University ranks as one of the nation's top public universities for the number of students studying abroad and for its international student enrollment. Ohio State is ranked 10th among the nation's research institutions with 1,858 students studying abroad and 12th among all U.S. universities in hosting international students, with a total of 4,345 students representing 113 nations. These findings were issued as part of the Open Doors 2007 report, an annual survey published by the Institute of International Education. 

Purdue University

  • Purdue Students Go Global With Service Projects

    From Kenya to South Africa to Ecuador, Purdue University students are using the skills they learn in the classroom to help others around the world.

    In 2008 more than 3,700 students participated in service-learning projects, which were incorporated into the curricula of approximately 175 courses. Purdue plans to expand the number of service-learning courses, through which students will work on projects locally and internationally.

    PolyU has launched an inaugural annual global business plan competition to bring secondary and university students, who are creative and with business flair, from all over the world to present their ideas to influential entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academics.  This is the unique opportunity to turn their sparkling ideas into innovative products or services. The finals will be staged in PolyU campus on 7th and 10th June 2010.  A series of activities will be held from 5 - 13th June aiming to provide an all rounded experience for finalists, from training to excursions in Hong Kong
