YouTube, the online service where anyone can post short videos for others to view and comment on, has set up a college section that is available only to those with a valid college e-mail address. So far, only 31 institutions qualify as "colleges on YouTube," though another 30 are listed as coming soon. The college-only approach takes a page right out of Facebook, the social-networking site that has become a must-use part of college life for many students, and which also limits access by college e-mail address.
