Will Napster Make it to Year 2 at George Washington U.?

Thanks to a donation from an anonymous alumnus, George Washington University has offered students free subscriptions to Napster, a legal music-downloading service, since last fall. But that money will be gone at the end of the academic year, and the university has to decide whether to bring the service back at its own expense. Early signs don’t bode well for Napster: A campus technology official says the university "probably has more important financial priorities."
