Wading Into Wireless

How much wireless Internet access do college students really need? Officials of the University of Maryland at College Park hope to answer that question with a pilot program that tests the utility of dorm-room hot spots. The results of the project may determine whether the university will install wireless points throughout residence halls or in just a few areas commonly used for studying. (The Diamondback)
