U. of Chicago Fights an E-Mail Scam

Students at the University of Chicago have been warned that they are targets of a new "phishing" scam. E-mail messages circulating on the campus network purport to be from a local bank and ask recipients for their account information. But campus administrators—joining their colleagues at a number of other institutions—have taken it upon themselves to debunk the scam. (Chicago Maroon)
