June 3, 2005, 3:39 pm

A student at the University of Texas at Austin accused of hacking into the campus computer system in 2003 is about to get his day in court. Christopher Andrew Phillips, a former computer-science major, faces four counts of fraud for purportedly breaking into university computers and pilfering thousands of people’s personal information.

Mr. Phillips has not entered a plea in the case, but his lawyer has said he is not guilty. (The Daily Texan)
