Arizona’s two largest public institutions are hoping to hop on the National LambdaRail.
Neither Arizona State University nor the University of Arizona could afford to pay its own way onto the LambdaRail—a fiber-optic network, being developed by colleges and technology companies, that promises to transmit data at lightning speeds. But the universities have banded together to plan a $5-million project that would connect them to the nationwide network.
