Teaching High Schoolers, From a Distance

Duke University is taking to the Web with a series of courses for gifted high-school students. For many years Duke, like a number of other institutions, has offered summer classes for students who can make it to the campus. But this fall the university will also offer seven not-for-credit courses that students can complete entirely online. (The Duke Chronicle)
