Seeking a Moratorium on Google’s Scanning

The Association of American Publishers has asked Google to stop
scanning copyrighted books
published by the association’s members for
at least six months while the search-engine company answers questions about whether
its Library Project complies with copyright law. The project aims to put the content of millions of volumes in five major libraries online. (The Chronicle, free link)
