Second Life’s Second Act

Second Life appears to be hitting the big time: The virtual world, which is popular with researchers studying socioeconomic behavior, has made it onto the cover of BusinessWeek magazine. BusinessWeek reports that the digital community has attracted the attention of companies like Intel, American Express, and Walmart — each of which is using Second Life to test new training techniques.
