Students at Coppin State University, in Maryland, are using a technology that allows them to integrate video recordings of lectures with their own notes.

The historically black college has many nontraditional students who juggle academics with outside demands, such as full-time jobs and family responsibilities. Administrators hope the technology will help such students cope with the stress of college, while improving student performance at the university over all and reducing the dropout rate.
