Are iPods biased against classical music? Some enthusiasts say so.
The music-playing devices aren’t very handy for people who prefer "Eroica" to Eminem, classical-music fans argue, because iPods aren’t set up to sort through classical pieces or to play multitrack suites seamlessly. And the classical-music collections of most online music stores—including those popular with college students, like Napster and iTunes—are patchy at best. Record companies are working to bolster those catalogs by making more of their classical pieces available for downloading.
