You might think that the music industry’s aggressive campaign of antipiracy lawsuits had frightened file-swapping college students. But it seems you’d be wrong.
A poll at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities—where two students were sued in April for allegedly pirating songs—found that only about one in three students who download music worried about being hit with a lawsuit. And more than half of the downloaders said they still don’t pay for any of the music they acquire online. (The Minnesota Daily)
