“Friends of the library” usually refers to people who donate books or bags of cash to a venerable institution. But on MySpace, it means something else entirely.
Like so many teenagers and twentysomethings, the library of the City University of New York’s Brooklyn College has a page on MySpace, the popular social-networking site.
