Oxford Gets Serious About Open Access

In an attempt to gauge the demand for open-access publishing, Oxford University Press will allow authors who write for some of its journals to pay to make their pieces available free online. The press has also changed its rules to let authors post their articles on their own Web sites a year after their initial publication. (The Guardian)
