No More Free iPods at Duke

Over the past two years, Duke University has attracted a great deal of publicity for giving away iPods—first to incoming freshmen, then to students taking courses that made use of the devices. But as Duke prepares to enter the third year of its experiment with the trendy tools, campus officials have announced that they will no longer simply hand out iPods free.
