More Colleges Use Facebook to Recruit Students, Survey Finds

The use of Facebook in college recruitment and admissions is on the rise, according to survey results released today. Almost 80 percent of respondents said they used the social-networking site as an admissions tool, and more than half described it as “very important,” The Chronicle‘s Lacey Johnson reports.
