Hackers Hit a College Bookstore Server

Students at Georgia Southern University who tried to buy books late last week were told they couldn’t pay with their credit cards—because the campus bookstore’s database had just been hacked. Everyone who has used a credit card at the bookstore since the beginning of 2002 may have had their personal information exposed in the breach, campus officials said. (The Associated Press)
