Google Pizza Program

September 8, 2005, 11:24 am

Google certainly knows the way to a college student’s heart: pizza. The popular search engine is recruiting computer-science students to deliver pizza to their nerdy colleagues while they’re cramming for exams or scrambling to meet project deadlines. Google is picking up the tab. According to a job posting on Google’s Web site, the "Google pizza ambassadors" don’t get paid, but they do get free pizza and Google gear. To be considered for the job, students must make a one-year commitment to Google and have "strong pizza-eating skills, and ability to recruit other pizza eaters." (Search Engine Watch)
