Web surfers who happened upon a pair of pages hosted by the University of Arizona may have gotten a rude surprise this week: Hackers had altered the sites so they linked to several pornographic Web pages.
Arizona's philosophy department and its Large Binocular Telescope Observatory — both unlikely destinations for people looking for racy pics — were victimized, according to The Arizona Daily Star. Campus officials think the hackers snuck in by exploiting a security hole in TWiki, a program the university used to run some collaborative research projects. –Brock Read
