Details of Google Contract

The University of California may provide as many as 3,000 books a day to Google for scanning, according to its contract with the company, a copy of which was obtained by The Chronicle. The contract offers clues to the scale of Google’s ambition and details restrictions on how the university can use its copies of the scanned material.
