A growing number of colleges have invited entertainment-industry officials to speak on file-sharing and online piracy this fall—hoping, perhaps, to get students at least to pause before firing up BitTorrent. This week Boston University welcomes Dean C. Garfield, director of legal affairs at the Motion Picture Association of America, to a panel discussion on piracy. Dan Glickman, chairman of the trade group, will begin a college speaking tour with an appearance at American University next week.
