You don’t need a brick-and-mortar hotel to learn about hotel management. At the University of Guam, students are honing their hospitality skills by using a computer program that simulates the experience of running a 40-room hotel, right down to the food-and-beverage services. Professors say the software might give Guam graduates an edge in the hotel-management industry, because many hotels already use similar computer programs. (Pacific Daily News)
