Robots that act in an off-off-Broadway play were built by two graduates of NYU’s interactive-telecommunications program. "When we tell people we’re making robots for a play, they’re like, Oh, can you make a robot that will clean my house?" says one of the designers, Cindy Jeffers. "We make robots that create things or that are part of a creative experience, and that is very different" from what people expect from robots, she says. (The Chronicle, free link)
