Campus Librarians: We’re Not the Porn Police

Two people were caught looking at child pornography on computers at Arizona State University’s libraries in February, but campus officials say they won’t be putting Internet filters on their public machines anytime soon. The university libraries prohibit children under 15 from entering unless they are accompanied by an adult, and librarians say they occasionally ask computer users perusing run-of-the-mill pornography to move to more private machines.
